Keep an eye on this space for information about the 2025 National Rally being held in Armidale NSW. The venue is the Armidale Showgrounds.
The Armidale Branch and the 2024 Ulysses Club National Rally Committee are looking forward to welcoming you to the picturesque city of Armidale in the New England Region of N.S.W.
Armidale has a lot to share. The roads to get there are varied and offer much in the way of fantastic scenery and great ride routes, with many places to stop and visit along the way. All the Autumn colours will be on the leaves of the gorgeous elms and maple trees that help to make Armidale such an attractive city to visit. The waterfalls and gorges will need to be on your must visit lists and we will have both guided rides and self-tour ride/drive routes planned to showcase the area.
The weather in Armidale during the National Rally is expected to be approx. 22deg during the day, a little cooler at night – down to approx. 11deg. A very pleasant temperature!
Accommodation:
If you are staying at the Armidale Showground, either camping or in an RV, there are plenty of sites available to enjoy the rally atmosphere. Lots of toilets and showers!
If you want hard-bed accommodation, Armidale also boasts a large selection of accommodation options. The Armidale Visitor Centre is helping Ulysses Club members to find their hard bed accommodation – they know who has availability and who doesn’t! Please consider booking now, as some motels already report good booking numbers!

Volunteering:
Like all Rallies, the Armidale one is no different, we will need the help of fellow Ulysses Club members to volunteer to help us manage some aspects of the event.
If everyone volunteered for just 1 shift, that is all that is needed! Closer to the time, when the registration and National Rally portal opens, please consider being a part of the rally by volunteering!

Awards:
Yes, we will have the usual distance and age awards. Please note that distance awards will be measured by google map distances. None of this go round Australia to win option!
Saturday Dinner Function Theme:
Yes, there is a theme for the Saturday dinner – Bushrangers! Now, you can let your imagination run wild and think outside the square – a lot of you have no problem doing that! But you can also go traditional – Think Typical Bushranger, Troopers, Police officers, 1800’s homestead families, Priests, even Saloon girls? Join in the fun, you might even get put into the stocks!
