Bruce Jones from Central Victoria Branch, sent in this report. Evan Field, member 14525 was recently presented with a Telemachus Medal.  Attached is the photo taken afterwards, with left to right, Dearnley medallist Reg Loe of CVUB who presented the medal, Evan Field in the centre, and President Michael Hennessy.

The medal was presented at Central Victoria Branch's monthly Social Night held on Wednesday, 24th April at the National Hotel, Bendigo, with 20 attending.  It was a surprise to all, although Evan had an inkling of an idea when he was asked not to leave early as he originally planned.  Evan's value of the medal was evident when he wore it at the Branch's breakfast the following Saturday.
